About me: I work on advancing optical imaging techniques for material metrology and biomedical applications that can improve our human life. Particularly, I am developing precision measurement tools that can enable me to collaborate with researchers and engineers to solve fundamental and/or practical problems. I obtained my PhD degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 2014. Immediately following that, I took a postdoc position at MIT until May 2017. Since 2011, I have focused on developing physical imaging models and building laser interferometric imaging instruments for various applications. About me: My research work is relevant about machine learning, data mining, computational intelligence, bioinformatics and precision medicine. I am right now an Yuelu distinguished Professor at the College of Information Science and Engineering, Hunan University, Changsha, China. Before joining Hunan University in 2019, I worked at the Department of Computer Science in Xiamen University. I received my Ph.D. degree in system engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2011. I have served as a visiting scholar in Indiana University, CityU of Hongkong, Oklahoma State University and Harvard Medical School. From 2016 to 2018, I worked as a Juan de la Cerva Scholar in Polytechnic University of Madrid. I have published more than 70 papers on journals and conferences such as Neural Computation, Bioinformatics, PLoS Computational Biology, Briefings in Bioinformatics and IEEE Trans. Cybernetics. According to google scholar citation, my research works were cited more than 2,700 times.

About me: I obtained my B. Eng. degree from Sichuan University majoring in Automation, M.Sc. degree from The University of Nottingham majoring in Electrical Engineering. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from City University of Hong Kong, focusing on digital fringe projection based 3D measurement. My research interests include digital fringe projection, optical metrology and image processing.

About me: I obtained my Ph.D degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2018. After finishing one-year postdoc in the same university, I take another postdoctoral position at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. I like playing basketball. My research interests are interdisciplinary, including the fiber spinning, textile-based sensors, shape memory polymers, silk-based materials and drug delivery. Currently, I mainly focus on the label-free optical imaging for functional applications.

In August 2018, I become a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering in CUHK. I like traveling, spicy food and novels. My research interests include optical image analysis, biomedical image processing and its practical application. I hope to do something to help illness diagnosis and treatment.

About me: My name is Niu Mengxuan. I am an outgoing girl from Hebei, China. Personally I like music and drama. In my spare time I often play the Chinese national musical instrument Ruan and sometimes I enjoy watching American TV Series. In terms of professional, my major in the university is the measurement and control of technology and equipment.I have mainly studied the courses in aspects of optical, mechanical and electrical . I have done some research on laser technology, and I have been studying optical strain sensors and their applications for some time. I am very interested in microscopic imaging and holographic storage and glad to study some parts of the biomedical engineering.

Now, I am joining Prof. Zhou's research group, and my further research interest would be in investigating optical strategies that obtain a high spatial and temporal resolution, high sensitivity, high contrast, and high speed to remotely and non-invasively control intracellular processes.
